Android Oreo Go smartphones may hit India this January 26
Android Go, latest series of Android software made for Low-performance smartphones. This offers new Android Oreo for the entry-level smartphones. Google has partnered with Indian-origin Micromax and Intex, for the new Go-series. Micromax is expected to come up with first on Android Oreo Go smartphone on January 26th.

With Android Oreo Go, Google aims to Capture the entry-level smartphone markets. Google earlier tried the same with its Android One but failed and now has shifted the project to the sub-flagship range. The smartphones are expected to be priced between 2000-7000, prices may differ from brand to brand.
The Company official said,
“As more users come online for the first time, the number of entry-level Android devices available has been rising quickly and is expected to make up a much larger percentage of all smartphone sales going forward. Given the acceleration, we thought it is time to take our investment to the next level.”
A source revealed a possibility of Nokia’s Android Oreo Go device. The device is expected to launch in Early 2018, Is expected to be priced around 6000-7000.
The other companies might be launching their Go devices soon in the year 2018.
Note:- Android Go is a specially designed Android Oreo which is built for entry-level devices carrying 1GB or less RAM. The light version of Android Oreo was announced last year. The Go edition will include rebuilt set of Google apps including YouTube Go, Google Maps Go etc. that will utilize less storage, less RAM, and less data. There will be separately optimised Android Go apps.
