Apple launches jaw-dropping MacBook Pro
Apple today announced in the USA the new and fresh lineup of the Apple MacBook Pro since 2016. The device will be available in 2 major variants with Touchbar, a 13-inch, and a 15-inch variant. The new MacBooks will feature 8th generation of Intel processors and will have up to 32GB of RAM and 4TB of internal storage. The company has claimed that the new version of Pro will be substantially faster than the older version of MacBook Pro.
Apple has raised the bar for every laptop maker out there with their MacBook Pro launched in 2016. The Pro had some questionable changes with only Type-C ports and a Touch Bar. But the device was well praised and a performance beast. The device could easily handle whatever you could throw at it be it coding, video editing, photo editing, high-intensity work.
Processor: With 6-core Intel i9 processor revving at 2.9 GHz with, 4.8 GHz turbo boost, there’s nothing stopping you from processing all those projects of yours.
RAM: You can rely on 32 GB DDR4 memory for running your heavy apps without worrying about losing your work because of a crash.
Screen: Movie plan? Gaming? Video/picture editing? The Retina display with True Tone technology will leave you satisfied because it adjusts the white balance automatically to match the color temperature of the light around you.
Sound: MacBook Pro has beautifully balanced, a high‑fidelity sound that takes listening to new levels with wide dynamic range and more bass for the maximum boom. And the speakers are connected directly to system power, enabling greater peak amplification. So you can mix a track on the fly, edit video on location, or enjoy a movie on the go.
Graphics: MacBook Pro features a Radeon Pro discrete GPU in every 15‑inch model. Apple has paired each GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 memory standard, giving fluid, real‑time performance for pro tasks like rendering 3D titles in Final Cut Pro X. The 13-inch variant with Touch Bar features 128MB of embedded DRAM-which is twice of the previous generation-which accelerates graphics tasks.
Space: MacBook Pro comes with a blazing fast solid-state drive, with sequential read speeds up to 3.2 GB/s. The 15-inch variant is available with up to 4TB SSD and the 13-inch one(with Touch Bar) is available up to a 2TB SSD-enough to put all your collections in one place.
Ports: MacBook Pro comes with Thunderbolt 3 which combines ultra‑high bandwidth with the ultra‑versatility of the USB‑C industry standard. It integrates data transfer, charging, and video output in a single connector, delivering up to 40Gb/s of throughput for twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 2. Both sizes of MacBook Pro are available with up to four ports, so you can do all of that from either side. Existing devices are easily connected with a cable or adapter. And Thunderbolt 3 is reversible, so no matter how you plug in, it’s always right side up.
Stand out features:
Blackmagic eGPU: Blackmagic Design has created an external GPU (eGPU) ideal for MacBook Pro. Which according to Apple helps you get PC level performance on your Mac. Housed in an all‑in‑one aluminum enclosure, the Blackmagic eGPU is powerful yet quiet, charges your MacBook Pro using Thunderbolt 3, and has built-in I/O connections to drive both a Thunderbolt 3 display and VR accessories simultaneously. With the Blackmagic eGPU and MacBook Pro, you can accelerate pro apps, create VR content.
Touch Bar: Touch Bar is the replacement for the function keys, featured in the last version of MacBook Pro. It changes automatically according to what you are doing to show you relevant tools that are useful — system controls like volume and brightness, interactive ways to adjust or browse through content, and intelligent typing features like emoji and predictive text, just to name a few. This might seem like a stupid thing to launch but while using you will fall in love with the touch bar thanks to how it works with Mac OS.
The T2 chip: Apple has introduced T2 chip-which is a second-generation custom Mac silicon designed by Apple to make MacBook Pro even more secure. Featured on the 13- and 15‑inch models with Touch Bar(The 13-inch base variant misses out), the Apple T2 chip includes a Secure Enclave coprocessor that provides the foundation for secure boot and encrypted storage capabilities. Siri as always is ready to open apps, find documents, play music or answer questions.
Touch ID: Unlock your Mac in an instant. Use Apple Pay to make secure online purchases. It can also switch between users — all with the touch of a finger.
