Dew Arena 2017 Grand finale comes to a stunning end
Originated roughly 6 months ago, Dew Arena, India’s largest eSports gaming championship, finally ended. The second edition of the gaming finale was concluded on 1st October 2017, in Hotel Andaz by Hyatt, New Delhi. The play-offs of the event ran for almost six months across 300 cities and 125 locations in India.
Eventually, 25 finalists from across the country made it to the Grand Finale to be crowned as the Ultimate gaming winner. And the winners for the Mountain Dew Ultimate gaming Championship are:

1st Place: Entity Gaming – Mumbai
2nd Place: Shooting Monkeys – Mumbai
2. Game – DOTA 2
1st Place: Aggressive 5 – Mumbai
2nd Place: Team Buriza – Hyderabad
3. Game – Rocket League
1st Place: Rahul “FTW Rahul” Poundarik – Indore
2nd Place: Manmeet “Lucifer” Singh – Delhi
4. Game – Street Fighter V
1st Place: Bhagwant “B3” Bagh – Delhi
2nd Place: Satyendra “Khiladi” Vishwakarma – Mumbai

The gaming finale was witnessed by some of the eminent faces from the gaming world which includes Hector Rosario, gaming commentator and CEO of International Esports Organisation, Flipside Tactics: Dana Kawar, CMO, Flipside Tactics; Niels Wolter, MD, ESL, the World’s Oldest professional esports organisation, Yegor Markelov, among the best Counter-Strike 1.6 players in the World, Antwan Ortiz, International Street Fighter Gamer and David Lawrie, one of the highest ranking players for International Rocket Gamer.

Dew Arena Gaming Finale was preceded by an exciting Semifinal match at New Delhi on the 29th September telecast live on the Discovery’s Exclusive sports channel, Dsport and on the Facebook and Youtube pages of Mountain Dew India and ESL.
