Galaxy J7 Plus leaks with dual camera and more
Samsung just introduced their first dual camera setup device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Although it was the first device by the South Korea giant to feature a dual camera, it wasn’t sure to be the last.
Although Samsung’s Galaxy S9 will also feature a dual camera setup, users will have to wait long to get their hands on an another $900 priced Dual camera setup Samsung smartphone. Not anymore, according to a leak by ThaiMobileCenter Samsung is going to launch a second dual camera setup device soon by the name of Galaxy J7 Plus.
Before we come to the mail part, let’s talk about performance for a minute. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus will house a 5.5-inch, 1080p, AMOLED display powered by a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with expandable storage up to 256 GB via microSD card.
The device also includes a fingerprint sensor and will run Android 7.1.1 out of the box. It also has Bixby support. All of this is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus sounds like a decent mid range smartphone except for the dual camera setup. Packing a 13 MP sensor with a f/1.7 aperture and a 5 MP sensor with a f/1.9 aperture. Whats even better is the “Live Focus” mode which was introduced on the Note 8 which makes subjects stand out from the rest of the background. Just like the portrait mode from the iPhone 7 Plus. As for the image stabilization and other features are still unknown. Also, the front camera is a 16MP with f/1.9 for beautiful front selfies.
It is unclear whether the device will be available outside the Asian territory or not. Although the Galaxy J7 V and Galaxy J7 Perx did launch in the US this year. Reports say the price and availability will be out soon.
