Moto G9 Play surfaced online: might launch soon
Motorola Mobility, One of the oldest players in the mobile phone market. The smartphones launched after Lenovo’s takeover haven’t been quite competitive in terms of price but have still maintained the Quality they were known for. The fresh leaks surfacing online is about Motorola’s G9 series. As the Moto G9 Play surfaces online at Geekbench benchmarks.
In the Act to stay relevant in the market, the company seems to be working on the successor of Moto G8 Play namely Moto G9 Play. The Play series smartphones are the entry-level smartphone of the G-series Motorola smartphones. Although there was no buzz of Moto G9 series coming any time soon, Moto G9 Play appears to be launching soon with upgraded hardware and better camera.
Expected features of Moto G9 Play
Processor and storage
The Geekbench listing shows some features of the phone that the memory will double them the G8 Play which was launched in Oct. last year. The G9 Play is expected to come with a 4GB RAM processor and an Andriod 10 software. It might also be having a Qualcomm processor as a codename “Guamp” clocked at 1.8GHz frequency. A shift from the G8 Play’s MediaTek Helio P70M SoC to Qualcomm’s new processor shall be a welcoming change. Although the features in the Geekbench list are a hint as Motorola has not mentioned anything about the phone.
Price and Availability
As for price, there is no information about the price and availability of the phone. But a phone from the G9 lineup namely G9 Plus surfaced online on a Spanish retail website. Priced at EUR 277.15 which is around 23000 for a 4GB RAM+128GB variant. The retailing online site also mentioned the phone will be available for sale with two more variants soon.
Therefore we can conclude the G9 Play might be available under Rs 15000 price tag as far as the features and other details of the phone were mentioned.
