OnePlus 6 might have a nasty surprise!
OnePus recently launched the OnePlus 5T back in November which didn’t come as a surprise. OnePlus did the same thing last year. However this being said, this doesn’t mean OnePlus 5T is the worthwhile purchase right now. While the OnePlus 5T is just a month old, the news about the upcoming OnePlus 6 might want people to wait for it. The rumours say that the OnePlus can launch their latest flagship OnePlus 6 as soon as in March 2018. This will render the flagship for only 4 months, which is really less time considering a flagship. The launch is expected to be sometime in March mid and the phone will be available to buy before April.
As the spec sheet goes the rumours suggest the device will run on Snapdragon 845, the latest chipset from Qualcomm which is not surprising. However, the biggest feature is the under the screen fingerprint sensor. The current flagship, the OnePlus 5T features an 18:9 resolution display which lets the fingerprint sensor at the back. It is not that convenient for many people. With under the screen fingerprint sensor will make it convenient for many people without spoiling the aesthetics. This will also be the first production phone with that technology.
It might also feature a notch with an OLED-display considering the fact that the OnePlus 5 was almost identical to the iPhone 7. This hints at the OnePlus 6 being a lot similar to the iPhone X. Although it is too early to say anything about the device, last year the rumours about the OnePlus 5 were correct, so we can expect the same.
Pricing and Availability
The price of OnePlus 6 is expected to similar to the current generation OnePlus 5T, starting at around $499 with a slight increase to maybe $549. The availability is expected to be near the end of March. Rest we have to wait and watch.
