Oppo Find X revealed: Price, Specifications and Availability
Chinese Electronics Manufacturer, Oppo finally revealed the smartphone they have been teasing since so long. The Oppo Find X has finally been revealed. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch display with a 92.5% screen to body ratio and popup cameras. The implementation is different from the Vivo Nex S but it achieves the same effect.
It features the pop up camera to compat the space for selfie camera with almost bezel-less display. However, the implementation is quite different from Vivo. While the Vivo pops up a small part containing the front camera. The Oppo pops up a part to the complete width of the smartphone. The popup houses the front camera along with both the rear cameras and flash units.
However, unlike the Vivo implementation, the Oppo Find X lacks an in-display fingerprint sensor. Along with that it also lacks the fingerprint sensor at all. This Oppo Find X uses face unlock to unlock the phone. The Oppo went complete Apple with copying iPhone X. We can also see the similarity in the naming with the same phone. One thing it doesn’t copy from Apple is the Notch.
As for the specifications, the Oppo Find X sports a 6.4-inch FullHD+ OLED display. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and offers up to 256GB of onboard storage. The phone runs on Oppo’s Color OS. The Color OS is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. All of this is backed up by a 3,730mAh battery. The smartphone also sports Oppo’s VOOC fast charging.
For the optics, the Oppo Find X sports a 16MP+20MP dual-camera setup at the back along with a 25-megapixel selfie shooter.
Price and Availability
Oppo has not yet declared the price and availability of the Oppo Find X. However, we expect the price to be somewhere around $600-$700 putting it in direct competition of the OnePlus 6.
