Oppo launched RealMe 2 with Notch and a huge 4230 mAh battery
Oppo India launched their new sub-brand RealME back in May this year. With Realme 1 being its first launch, the phone brought Diamond Black design with the bezel-less display at the sub-10k price tag. Phone checked each and every box in the price segment. Now, the company has announced Realme 2 at the sub-15k price segment.
The Realme 2 is very much an upgrade to the previous smartphone. The phone sports Notched display, Dual camera and Humongous battery. Which Realme 1 missed out on.
Smartphone sports vibrant 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a notch on top having an Aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 paired with 3/4GB RAM options. The previous Realme 1 sported an Helio P60 processor. Oppo has a special gaming boost which will improve the gaming performance.
On the camera front, The Realme 2 has a dual camera set up of 13+2MP sensors at the back. Primary shooter being a F/2.2 sensor and the secondary is a depth sensor. The front camera is set up at the notch, with an 8MP shooter boosted with AI for better shooting and Facial recognition.
The phone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with oppo’s own custom skin. Powered by a huge 4230 mAh battery, the phones seems pretty balanced. Fingerprint scanner at the back and misses Fast charging.
Price and Availablity
The oppo realme 2 will be available in 3-different colour variants namely Diamond black, Blue and Solar Red. Also, the phone is available in 3 different storage options. 3+32GB, 4+64GB,6+128GB options. The new smartphone will be Flipkart exclusive while the Realme 1 will be still an Amazon exclusive.
The phone starts from a very low price point at Rs 8990/- for the entry level variant and hikes up to 10,990 for the 4GB variant.
The smartphone shares similar features such as 5.7-inch HD+ display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 at heart with 2GB RAM at a price point of Rs 9000 only. The phone has a metal body frame with 2.5D corning gorilla glass.
Redmi note 5
The Xiaomi smartphone is a Rs 1000 expensive to this phone but delivers the cost difference with its premium metal design. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 625, which allows heavy gaming smoothly. Plus a battery of 4000 mAh gives the phone immense battery life to hold up to 12 hours on gaming.
The phone also supports Quick Charge 2.0 and the Camera on the device is exceptional but misses out on a 4K recording. While giving impressive snaps from rear and Front both.
Asus Zenfone Max M1 pro
The Asus device comes with specifications similar to the RN5 but is lighter to the pocket as compared to both Honor 9N and RN5. The phone comprises on the Camera standards with an Average quality Dual camera and sloppy Facial detections but covers things up with humongous 5000 mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636.
The phone doesn’t support quick charge but charges up quickly with the normal box Charger. The phone comes with Stock Android Out of the Box which gives it an edge in performance.
