Poco’s new smartphone to hit the Indian market soon
Xiaomi’s new sub-brand Poco, after unveiling the cheapest smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. Seems, all set to release another shocker. Rumors to be believed the Poco F2 is about to be announced real soon. Expected to be slated just after the announcement of the Oneplus’s smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
There has been no official announcement from the company but, Poco India’s General Manager, C Manmohan tweeted about the arrival of a new Poco smartphone.

In August, When the POCO F1 was unveiled. It had distinct variants that offered up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB in storage. The smartphone also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and a LiquidCool technology as well. An IPS LCD display measuring, 6.18-inches. And a Camera which performed very well. Poco compromised on the look and in place of low price and heavy performance.
Priced at 29,999 the Poco F1 had the ‘real Kevler’ finish sporting Armoured Edition, which also had 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Tipster, Ishan Agarwal says that, the 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage variants may also be coming with the Kevlar finish. According to him, some europian companies may be getting the these variants before India does, but India is in talks to get these finishes.

Poco F2 specifications
After making quite a buzz with F1, Poco seems to not to be stopping at any point with the Poco F2. The Poco F2 is expected to slate in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855. Which not only brings an in-display fingerprint scanner using Qualcomm’s ultrasound technology but also brings 5G support for the smartphone.
Poco F2 is expected to be budget variant of Xiaomi’s Mi 9 flagship smartphone. For which rumors suggest a Water drop notch on an AMOLED panel, but the Poco variant of the smartphone will sport an LCD panel with a higher refresh rate competing against the Asus’s ROG phone. Also, poco is expected to add on another sensor at the back making it a tri-camera setup at the back.
The Mi 9 pro will feature Wireless charging, Which may not be available in the poco until 2020. Considering both price and trickle down effect of the flagship on the budget flagship
Update: Poco has unveiled the Armoured edition of the Poco F1 in 6Gb+128Gb variant priced at Rs 23,999.
