Redmi 6 Pro goes official with a Notch: Price, Specifications and Availability
Chinese Electronics Manufacturer, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 Pro. The smartphone is a successor to the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Redmi 6 Pro was unveiled in an event in China. The company is touting the brand new Redmi 6 Pro to sports a 5.84-inch 19:9 display, dual rear cameras, an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC and a massive 4000mAh battery. The Redmi 6 Pro also sports an iPhone X-style notch in its display. The Redmi 6 Pro is the first smartphone from the company to sport this design.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat based MIUI 9. The smartphone sports a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with 19″9 aspect ratio setup. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked up to 2GHz. This is coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB or 4GB of RAM depending on your variant. For the storage, there is 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options. The storage is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB with a dedicated slot. All of this is backed up by a 4000mAh battery.
For the optics, the Redmi 6 Pro sports a dual rear camera setup. This consists of a 12-megapixel primary sensor with a f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the selfies, it sports a 5-megapixel front camera. Both the cameras are fitted with AI Portrait mode and HDR features.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro price starts at CNY 999 (~Rs 10,400) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The bigger variant costs CNY 1,199 (~ Rs 12,500) for the 4GB RAM, 32GB storage variant. While the top of the line variant costs CNY 1,299 (~ Rs 13,600) for the 4GB, 64GB configuration. Sales of the smartphone start at 10 am CST on Tuesday, June 26. It will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Pink, and Red color variants. However, there is no word about the smartphones Indian Price and availability.
