Redmi Note 6 pro spotted online: Prices and specifications leaked
Xiaomi had a very busy year with more than 8 launches of 2018 variants of their popular smartphones series. Also launching the new Poco series which brought Flagship hardware at the cheapest price possible. With Redmi 6 series already out in the global market, speculations of the Note variant has been buzzing. The Redmi Note 6 Pro was spotted online.
Redmi Note 6 pro was seen listed at AliExpress with both specifications and price. From the listing and previous rumours, it seems pretty evident that the new smartphone will sport the Notch and Chin design.
The Redmi Note 6 pro is expected to have a huge 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS LCD display. The phone is expected to sport a tiny notch similar to the Notch on OnePlus 6 and Redmi 6. Under the hood, the smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with 4GB+64GB storage options. Which seems very similar to the Mi A2.
On the Camera front, The listing shows the dual cameras on both ends of the smartphone with primary being a 12+5MP shooter seen previously in Redmi Note 5 Pro. and the Secondary is a 20+2Mp scanner which not only improves photo quality but also enhances the Facial recognition.
The camera will be set up vertically, with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor set same as Redmi Note 5 pro and Mi A2 device. the phones keep the headphone jack and big 4000 mAh battery of its predecessor. Redmi Note 6 Pro like all budget phones will skip NFC. The phone will be based On Miui 10 and will come with Android oreo out of the box.
Price and Availablity
The Chinese listing shows the delivery time to be 60 days. The release may be coming in the early November or the late October in the Chinese market whereas for the Indian market the device might take up to January of 2019. Also with being late, the phone might show up in Global markets with Android pie.
The rumoured price of the smartphone is (as per the listing) $193.99 and $218.99 (roughly Rs. 14,100 and Rs. 15,900). Although the retailer is taking orders for Global markets they are not delivering to India currently.
