Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with 4000mAh battery and a 6.4 inch display leaked
Korean Electronics Manufacturer, Samsung is expected to launch the Note 9 soon. Earlier there were rumours of the smartphone being launched a little bit early. Now the rumours claim it may launch as early as July or August. And as always, close to the launch some specifications have been leaked.
According to a leak published by an unknown source on Weibu, Samsung will increase the display size. The leak suggests that the Note 9 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. However, the aspect ratio will remain the same at 18.5:9. While the increase in display size is not that much, it will certainly put it apart from the Galaxy S9+.
Besides that, the leak also suggests an increase in battery capacity. The battery capacity of the Note 9 will be increased to 4,000mAh from the 3,300mAh of the Note 8. Also, we already know the Note 9 will be powered by the same chipset as the Galaxy S9 Duo. That is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC or an Exynos 9810 SoC.
What we still don’t know?
However, the long-anticipated under-display fingerprint sensor is something still rumoured. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was rumoured to have an under-display fingerprint sensor. However, it is not addressed in this leak. This means Samsung won’t include that technology right now. however, with smaller companies like Vivo and Huawei being able to dit it successfully. A lot os expected from major manufacturer’s like Samsung.
A report by The Investor claims that the company will start production of the OLED for the Note 9 mid-April. That’s two months in advance as the history has told us. This means we will get the Note 9 in July or at max August. this will help Samsung increase it’s sales as the S9 Duo sales are not up to the mark. S8 sold way better than the S9 has sold so far. Part of this is the reason that these phones look almost the same.
