Finally after a long wait of somewhat three months, Super Mario Run finally hits android. On March 23rd the game will be releasing for Android. The launch comes several weeks later after the Nintendo’s newest tactical RPG Fire Emblem released for both iOS and Android.

Nintendo’s game will enable players to control Nintendo’s one of the most popular character, Mario. It is a endless running game in a 2D scenario much similar to the worlds of Super Mario Bros console series games.
While Super Mario Run has received mix reviews from the people, it still has been downloaded 78 million times in the first two months. Surprisingly only 5% of the downloads were converted into full version by a one time payment of $9.99. It is quite a possibility that same business model is used on Android also.
Super Mario Run is available to pre-order on the play store. You can register here. Once the game is available for download the play store will send you a alert. Nintendo also has plans to release their popular console series, Animal Crossing for smartphones in April 2017. It looks like its not coming anytime soon. While the company has been hesitating to release games for mobile platform the CEO stated that the company will try to release at least 2-3 games for the mobile platform per year.
