The OnePlus 6 vs Huawei Honor 10: Clash of the flagships
OnePlus, one of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers in the market. Recently launched the new OnePlus 6, which had the latest chipset and the new Notch design. At the same time, Huawei’s Sub-brand Honor launched their Honor 10 with similar specifications and design in the market.
Both the devices fall in the Same price bracket and are both are fighting for the tag OnePlus once was the lone holder of, The Flagship killer. It is difficult to judge which one is better as both devices are so closely matched, but we do have an answer of which one might be the perfect one for you.
The phone comes with a 6.28-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels.
The OnePlus 6 is powered by 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset and it comes with 6/8GB of RAM. The phone packs 64/128GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus 6 hosts a dual camera setup at the back, consisting of a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel color lenses on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Huawei Honor 10
The phone comes with a 5.84-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels at a PPI of 432 pixels per inch.
The Honor 10 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor 10 packs a 24-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 24-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Honor 10 runs Android 8.1 with EMUI over it and is powered by a 3400mAh battery.
While the smartphones look very similar on paper, there are a few areas in which we could see the difference
Grip and Feel
While this doesn’t seem a concern to many people but it is one of the points, The Oneplus 6 brings a 6.2-inch display with least bezels, the glass back design seems very good but doesn’t fit well in the hand. An average user might have to stretch his thumb to reach the top corner.
Whereas the Honor 10 is pretty handy fits well in the hand to issue of stretching thumb. This smartphone gave a perfect in hand experience. While both the phone sports a glossy glass back at the back, Honor has a bit edge in terms of grip because of the size.
Verdict – Honor 10
Huawei Honor 10 performs well with its Kirin 970 chipset, lag-less on day-to-day usage, incredible multi-core performance. With being swift on App jumping between heavy games. But the phone seems to have some issue with heating at the lower battery levels.
On the Other hand, Oneplus 6 packs the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset clearly beats Honor 10 in this segment. The phone is very quick, You can feel the speed even while the opening of App drawer how fast the phone is. While on the Antutu benchmarks the smartphone scores 40000 more than the peer.

This area has been very talked about, The OnePlus 6 camera seems very good with crisp color and EIS enabled video recording. The camera is quite petty but fails the performance in dark lighting situation, Also the front facing camera doesn’t work up to the expectations.
While the Huawei Honor 10 bring a magic touch with AI-powered camera, in the broad daylight the phone captures perfect photos also the camera app has Modes for Text, Food etc. Which enriches the photo quality. While the photos in dark are above average in the dark lighting situations. The front camera works really well.
The Facial-recognition of the Honor 10 is a bit better in dark lighting due to it AI-powered camera.

Here both the phone squared off very closely. Both the phone provided a similar battery experience where the time on standard usage came around 23 hours 10 minutes for Oneplus 6 whereas Honor gave 25 hours and 4 minutes. Honor provides an Ultra power saving Mode which saves a lot of power.
While on heavy usage, both the phones gave the average performance of 7 hours and 8 hours. But on the Charging Oneplus has an edge with its Dash charger, while Honor also supports Fast charging the phone takes 50% more time than the Oneplus.

Huawei Honor runs on the latest EMUI 9.0 based on Android 8.1 oreo, the phone has a variety of gestures and controls which helps for the easy usage. While the phone doesn’t have navigation gestures in place, but the use of Under-display Fingerprint scanner at the Chin for navigation makes the usage swifter. The phone also has IR blaster, which could be used to pair your Electronics device as Remote.
The OnePlus 6 runs on the near stock experience with Oxygen Os based on Android 8.1 Oreo. With snappier navigation experience, the phone looks quite a beast. OnePlus has announced 3 years assured updates. So the phone will surely be updated to Android Q, might also R. While the navigation is through the gestures or the navigation button as the fingerprint sensor is mounted at the back.

Both the devices bring one of the best user experience in the Flagship market. Also, the smartphones are light on the pocket although the smartphones are very similar yet they have some differences. Differences may affect the Choice of the customer depending upon the requirements and usage.
There is no clear winner in this Comparison, a performance freak may like OnePlus 6 over Whereas a camera enthusiast may like Honor 10.
