Chinese pirate Xiaomi, back in the Flagship game with Mi 6
Xiaomi, recently launched its new flagship Xiaomi Mi6. The phone was in buzz for a quite bit a time. But, the company waited for an anniversary of their previous flagship in the market. Already in the top position of the mid-range segment in India and many other countries. Will they be able to draw some blood?
Things to note:

Features that make the phone stand out
3D curved glass design
Xiaomi Mi6 by offering a four-sided 3D curved glass design. This adds to the appearance of the device significantly and adds to the premium appeal of the handset. Holding the display and the sides together is a frame made out of stainless steel. Which on grabbing looks very premium.
The Xiaomi Mi6 is using Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood, which is the best mobile CPU in the market by a big margin. Interestingly, this is the same CPU powering the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Which will be quite interesting to see in the flagship competes each other.
Under-glass fingerprint sensor
The company is using Qualcomm’s new Sense ID based fingerprint scanning tech, which can scan your finger even if it’s wet or oily. This is a major plus and something that even flagships like the Apple iPhone 7 cannot achieve. Enhancing the fingerprint experience.
It is not water-resistant but the manufacturer has been mindful enough to offer splash resistance on the device. This means the device can sustain occasional bursts of rain or even water spills (but not complete submersion). It can resist splash only on the covered part.
Xiaomi is using a dual rear camera setup with its new offering. One is a standard 12MP sensor while the other is a telephoto lens, offering up to 2X lossless zoom. Which recently we saw in plenty of other phones.
Price and availability
Xiaomi Mi6 will soon be available in the China market and may enter the international market in coming months.
