Xiaomi has quite a few speculating devices on sale including recently launched a phablet Note 2 and futuristic looking bezel-less Mi Mix. Both being high end devices launched recently, it wasnt surprising for them to introduce a new budget level device into the market.
The Xiaomi in a event on 4th November has to announce a new entry level budget smartphone called the Redmi 4. The Chinese company posted a teaser on its Weibo account revealing that the launch event will take place on November 4 in China. Also it may announce a cheaper version on the device by the name of Redmi 4A.
By the image posted in the teaser it is sure that it will come with a full metal uni-body and a 2.5D curved glass sitting on the top. There are rumors of the device’s specifications but nothing is confirmed yet.
If the rumors are true, we can expect to see a device with a 5-inch (1080p LCD display) a Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of memory expandable upto 128 GB via a micro sd slot. At the back, you’ll find a 13 MP camera with dual-LED flash, while the front cam is only 5 MP(sorry selfie lovers). The Redmi 4 is said to pack a 4,100 mAh battery, run on Android 6.0, and come in Gray, Silver or Gold.
If you want a something a little less powered and more affordable, the Redmi 4A might be more up your alley. Rumors suggest that it will offer a 5-inch screen with a lower 720p resolution, a Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM, and half the storage(That is 16 GB). The battery will also get a downgrade to 3,030 mAh while the cameras should stay the same.Running on Android 6.0, You’ll be able to pick one up in Rose Gold or Gold.
